Whitehouse Square is like no other community in Northwest Ohio. It is a neighborhood that's designed to take you back in time... re-introduce you to a slower pace of life.

Years ago developers thought taking off the front porches, making lots bigger with larger homes was the way we should live. Gas was cheap and we all drove 5 to 10 miles to our shopping malls. In this lifestyle, we live a sterile life, not knowing our neighbors or the shop owners.

In recent years, there has been a strong resurgence of the urban lifestyle driven by the desire to return to neighborhoods that allow us to feel the enjoyment of belonging to a community.

Economics are also important in our runaway cost of living, i.e. transportation, utilities, taxes, health care, and housing costs.

Living in smaller, well-designed, and energy-efficient homes within walking distance of recreational, medical, retail, church, dining, and entertainment makes for a more affordable and healthier lifestyle.

Our community will have traffic lanes for golf carts, pedestrians, and bikes. $1.00 per square foot will be designated to the development of parks. Lush landscaping, parks, nature trails, and recreation such as swimming, volleyball, basketball, driving range, ice skating, sledding, playgrounds, horseshoes, and much more.

Our residences will be for all ages and incomes, housing from single family homes, villas, unique townhouses, retail/lofts, unassisted adult apartments, assisted adult living flats, apartments, and cottages.

Retail will include flower shops, drugstores, furniture and interior decorating stores, carpet and paint stores, banks, coffee/book shops, grocer, deli, bakery, wine and cheese shops, a dollar store, dry cleaners, and more.

Entertainment will include several different types of restaurants, sports bar, a community theatre, rental hall, health club, and more.

We will also have an activity director to plan activities and advertising for retailers such as sports tournaments, art and music festivals, quality flea markets, farmers market, and more.

We have designed this community to fit Whitehouse with the intent of growing our village while keeping a small town feel proving independent businesses can thrive in this type of environment.

We project that people and retailers will line up to be a part of this truly different and affordable community by strong marketing. All common areas will be professionally maintained. By averaging our costs over all retail and residential units, we will reduce the cost per unit for community maintenance.

Part of Whitehouse's economic development will be to attract business to the area and provide jobs in a close proximity to the town center. A twenty to thirty room hotel will provide accommodations to local companies' needs as well as families visiting residents in the adult living and sport events.

Architectural design shall be of the 19th century with a clean new look. Signage, street lighting, water features, and landscape will be by architectural controls.

We welcome you to join our friendly community!
